Bulls pick up two impact players for 2008

Limeport has added two standout outfielders for the 2008 season. Andrew Heard (Desales University) and Ricky Rivera (Oral Roberts University).

2007 Playoff Stats

The Limeport Leaders for the 2007 playoffs are listed below. The pitching stayed strong as it had all season long. The team ERA was 2.47 with 31 strikeouts in 34 innings. The offense struggled as it did all year long with a .260 batting average in the 5 playoff games.

In the Coplay series, the Bulls scored 5 runs in the 1st three innings, 2 runs in the 4th and 5th innings, and zero runs in the 6th, 7th, and 8th innings. Overall Limeport scored at least 1 run in 5 of the 22 innings.

2007 Season Comes to an End...

The Bulls wrapped up their 2007 season with an overall record of 23-13. The Bulls finished the regular season in 2nd place in the Southern Division. Limeport swept Northern Yankees 2-0 in the opening round of the playoffs and then were swept by #1 seed Coplay 3-0 in the semi-finals.

Aug 4th

The Bulls came out flat today and never rebounded. After scoring in the top of the 1st, Coplay scored 4 runs in the next 2 innings and eventually won 5-2.

The offense was lead by Kenny Serfass (2-3). Liam O'Connor and Blair Dameron each scored a run. Nolan Neiman and Pete Moore each added an rbi.

Jeff Krauss threw well in relief pitching 5 innings and only giving up 1 earned run.

Bulls Drop Game 2 to Coplay

Aug. 2nd @Limeport Stadium
Limeport 5, Coplay 6

After leading 4-1 the Bulls gave Coplay 4 runs in the top of the 5th and eventually lost the game in the 8th.


Blair Dameron was 3-4 with a double and 2 rbi. Matt Geiger and Pat Hollander were each 2-3. Hollander added 2 rbi while Geiger scored 3 runs. Nolan Neiman added an rbi.

Ryan Walter pitched 5 innings and struck out 5. Jeff Krauss pitched 3 innings and struck out 4.

Limeport Picnic

Limeport Stadium is having their annual picnic on Aug 18th @ 4:00. The Bulls are responsible for bringing side dishes. Awards will be given out at the picnic. Spread the word...would like a better turnout than last year.

Bulls Take Game 2 and Advance to Semi's

Limeport advances to Semi-Finals vs. Coplay

Solid pitching and key hitting paved the way for victory today. Ryan Gerber (West Chester) pitched 5+ solid innings and Jeff Krauss earned the victory in relief. Gerber struck out 5 while Krauss struck out 3.

Ryan Walter's suicide squeeze in the top of the 7th plated Liam O'Connor for the game winning run. Liam walked, stole second, advanced to 3rd on a passed ball, and scored on Walter's squeeze.

The Bulls scored 3 in the 6th. Pat Lane, Ryan Walter, and Brendan O'Connor each scored in the inning. Brendan O'Connor, Kevin Kershner, and Jeff Kroboth each had an rbi.

Jeff Cavanaugh was 2-3 and Kenny Serfass was 2-4.
